The Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu, is a Brasilian martial arts, a form of the in Brazil practised Ju-Jitsu, that Mitsuyo Maéda (1879 - 1941) brought to Brazil and whichFamile Gracie developed. Its a young martial art that has refined permanently. Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu arises from the Japanese Ju-Jitsu and is a ground technique, which is practised with or without a Kimono. Every end technique completes with a stranglehold or a contortion (neck, shoulder, ellbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle) and without a ankletwisting. In opposition to most martial arts where its usual to fight standing with feet and fists, the Brazilian Jui-Jitsu concentrates on groundfights. Its a very technique domain where corpulence has low matter. The experience shows that streetfight between 2 fighters usually ends on the ground. |
